Meet my state’s technician training requirements

State Board of pharmacy requirements are changing frequently. Some states require technicians to show proof of enrollment in or completion of a structured, board- approved or ASHP/ACPE accredited training program before the technician can apply for a state registration or license. Other states may have rules or requirements for having technicians pass national certification exams. In some states, national certification may be a minimum requirement, while others may allow changes in the pharmacist to technician supervision ratio with certified technicians on staff.
