Performance Rewards FAQ's

In order to be eligible to opt-in to the McKesson Performance Reward program, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be a current Health Mart Atlas customer.
  • Must complete program enrollment form.
In order to be eligible to opt-in to the McKesson Performance Reward program, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be a current Health Mart Atlas customer and Health Mart franchisee.
  • Must complete program enrollment form.
  • Must meet compliance requirement: BPR & GPR purchases = 90%+ and GCR purchases = 12%+ OR GCR = 22%+.
  • Must have performance data in EQuIPP.
  • Performance in top 20th percentile for one or more of the PDC measures (RASA, Diabetes, Statins).
  • Must meet compliance requirement: BPR & GPR purchases = 90%+ or, GCR purchases = 24%+.
  • Must have performance data in EQuIPP.
  • Performance in top 20th percentile for one or more of the PDC measures (RASA, Diabetes, Statins).
Rebates will be included on the Total Rewards statement. Also, customers will receive a specific rebate percentage based on the number of PDC measures met in a given month, compliance met in a given month, and the net OneStop Generics™ purchases for that month. See chart below:

Payments will be quarterly, with the first payment being made for January 1–March 31, 2019 in June 2019.
Steps to Improve Performance for Performance Rewards
DISCOVER PERFORMANCE PLATFORMS
Below listed Performance platforms will help you review and improve your pharmacy’s performance score. EQuIPP stands for Electronic Quality Improvement Platform for Plans and Pharmacies PQS’s hallmark service is EQuIPP, the first national pharmacy quality measurement, benchmarking, and reporting platform for pharmacies and health plans. EQuIPP can help you track your performance scores and identify any patient outliers that may be negatively impacting your performance scores. OutcomesMTM™, MirixaPro™, and OptumRx MedMonitor™ are all Medication Therapy Management (MTM) platforms, MTM platforms help pharmacies with patient adherence and addressing patients who may have Medication Therapy Problems. If you are not already enrolled with these Performance platforms you should begin the process for enrollment. PREPARE PATIENTS
EQuIPP offers Patient Outlier information, this helps to identify patients who are negatively impacting your performance score. MTM vendors, such as OutcomesMTM™, MirixaPro™, and OptumRx MedMonitor™ offer cases for patients who may need an adherence intervention or some other drug therapy problem resolution. MTM cases receive payment based on the intervention type.
START BEHAVIORAL COACHING
Behavioral Coaching helps to better engage with patients, rather than telling them what to do, it is better to understand why they may be having trouble with their medications. Behavior Coaching utilizes open-ended questions, active listening, and gets the patient’s buy-in by building a plan together.

MAXIMIZE MEDICATION SYNCHRONIZATION (only available for HM customers)
Medication Synchronization is a proactive approach for managing patients taking multiple chronic drugs. Under med sync, enrolled patients pick up or have their prescriptions delivered on a single day each month. Med sync’s operational changes help drive clinical, operational, and financial performance.
